If all food can be traced back to an ethnic group, why not call it food instead of ethnic food?

It is a light-yellow-colored salad dressing served with the side salad in their lunch specials. The workers there have said that it is their own dressing they make and that it is a mixture of Mayonnaise & Vinegar, but couldn't tell me the rest since they didn't want to give away their secret recipe. Does anyone know what kind of dressing this is and where I can buy or make it?

My girlfriend and I absolutely love sushi. We go to a specific Japanese restaurant where we are regulars and are well-liked by the owner and staff. Would it be pretentious to take our own custom chopsticks, replete with a carrying case, to the establishment? We're very conscientious with manners, being extremely conscious of every detail, manners, and respect. We do not want to come across as pompous or offensive.

I just ate Chinese food and now my head feels all weird and pressurized. Everytime I eat Chinese food, for about 15 minutes afterwards, I feel weird. My head feels heavy and I feel somewhat shaky. It's nothing major, or I wouldn't keep eating it. Just wondering if it's some sort of sauce or something that maybe I wouldn't normally eat.

It's very mild in taste, white and is crumbly like feta. If you've tried the loco salad at El Pollo Loco, that's what I'm thinking of. And where would I find it? regular grocery stores? Thanks!!
