Well, being from the U.S. and never having gone out of country, My tastes and the availability of certain types of food will naturaly be different from yours, But :
1. Regular American food, (some of which may be simular to Brittish) Meat and potatoes, Gravies, Salads, Chicken fried steaks, fried chicken, meatloaf, pork chops, fish, etc.
2. Mexican and Hispanic foods, My girl freind is Latina, so plenty of Taco's, enchilada's, Chile verde & colorado, Chille Rellano's, spanish style rice, refried beans, all that stuff!
#. Hard to choose between Italian and Chinese/Thai I like both a lot. I'm sure there are other ethnic cuisines that I have yet to try, that I would like, If I was to get around a little more. Someday!

Mexican - I just love the flavors. I love hot and spicy things in tomato sauces with sour cream. Enchiladas and guacamole are my favorite.

Thai - I love that coconut milk flavor - red curry or panaang are my favorites.

Indian - I love the different and interesting flavors. Makhani chicken is one of the best. So is Kofta Curry made with the yellow yogurt sauce.

I know you only asked for 3 but I also really enjoy greek food. Stuffed grape leaves, hummus, baba ganoush, falafel. Mmmmm, so good.

I'm not too familiar with Lebanese food.

1. GREEK: the original cuisine of the West! Only Greeks cook for the last 10,000 years the same way, except they improve according to the new ingredients they bring from abroad!
2. CHINESE: The original cuisine of the East! For 10,000 of years, they know how to cook and preserve a wealthy civilization, without proper food, they would not succeed!
3. McDonald: I do not like it, but modern people have come to learn and like this food, drink Coke and survive adopting this food!

1) Indian- so many great curries from sweet and creamy to blow your head off. One for any mood.
2) Thai- so fragrant and fresh.
3) Indonesian- again so many dishes and so many different tastes.

Lebanese food is excellent, similar to other middle eastern cuisines. I love all the different dips and meat dishes. Well worth a try.
