Does anyone have a simple, Cappuccino Biscotti recipe with out nuts or chocolate? My italian grandmother is coming into town and I need this recipe by tomorrow!

Yes there are recipes for biscotti that don't include nuts or chocolate, I've had plenty in my lifetime I just can't find any recipes for it online. Please help!

Yum! I LOVE biscotti...i found this on the net: in the original recipe it did NOT nuts but it did have chocolate but it was only for dipping after the biscotti was done cooking so i didn't copy that part... but it really doesn't affect anything because it was only for dipping afterwards...hope it helps! it really easyand fast with a few ingredients!

Cappuccino Biscotti:

INGREDIENTS:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon instant espresso coffee powder
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon shortening

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
Sift the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and espresso powder together
Beat the eggs and margarine together until light and fluffy. Stir in the flour mixture and beat until smooth.
Form dough into two long (loaf shaped) logs on the prepared baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes. Remove and let cool completely.
Cut logs into 1/2 inch slices. Turn on sides and bake again at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until golden brown, about 10 minutes Make 12...but if you want more or less just click on the web site and put in how much you want to make and they will tell you the right amount ingredients

You'll never find a recipe for cappuccino biscotti with out the nuts and chocolate they go to good together. You'll have to use a different flavor biscotti.Here are a few to look at. Here's the link. Good luck you shouldn't have waited till the last minute. Shame shame!

Mmmm, biscotti. Sounds yummy! Try looking at www.cooks.com They have tons of recipes!!! I'm not sure if there are any that are specifically Cappuccino Biscotti, but I did see a couple of basic recipes that I'm sure you could alter. Just type biscotti into the "search for recipes" box. Good luck!!

BISCOTTI - ITALIAN NUT COOKIES 3 lg. eggs 3/4 c. sugar 2 one million/2 sticks butter, melted one million tbsp. orange zest one million tbsp. vanilla 2 c. flour one million tsp. baking soda 2/3 c. Hazelnuts one million/3 c. almonds (or one million c. any nuts) Beat eggs and sugar. upload butter, zest and vanilla, beat properly. Sift flour, soda and upload and beat properly. Stir in nuts using spoons; divide sticky dough in one million/2. position each and each one million/2 on cookie sheet. structure into flat loaf 10 x 14 inches. Bake 20 minutes or till agency. Cool a couple of minutes. reduce into one million/2 inch slices and position on facets on cookie sheet. Bake 7 minutes on both facet. Cool on rack. Dunk into wine/espresso. should be served for breakfast.
