Anyone who has tried wasabi knows that it does something to your nose and sinuses. But I've heard every sort of theory on this and its supposed benefits / harmful effects. Does anyone know more about this?

I just ordered something from the cafe that I thought I knew what it was, but it turned out to be something different, so now I'm wanting to know what it is that I wanted!

I ordered a Picadillo breakfast taco and received spicy ground beef in a tortilla. I did a little research on the net and found that that IS what a picadillo taco is. But what I was wanting was a mixture of scrambled eggs, picante sauce, cheese and tortilla chips mixed together and served in a flour tortilla. So what's the name of what I was expecting to get so I can order it next time?

Thanks!

at the local chinese buffet near my hometown they served what they called salt and pepper(black pepper) chicken, it was small tiny pieces of chicken. they had a very very crunchy like batter or crust or bread like coating. but it was very peppery and salty, and i think i tasted some cinnimon in it too. i have looked everywere for a recipe but cant find one. think of KFC"s popcorn chicken, like that size and a similar breading, but slightly salty and very pepper like black pepper, and i think cinnimon. something like that.

I live in a rural area....so, sometimes, the more exotic spices and so forth are a little difficult to find. I'm on a budget too, so I can't afford recipes with a ton of ingredients, either....

Thank you for your answers!!! God bless!!!

There are lots of stray dogs and cats out there-Lots of cultures eat these, why not catch them, and feed them to the hungry homeless? We'd have full people, and less stray animals!!
