Hi, my husband who's in the military deployed overseas wanted me to buy him dried/ or cooked hamburger meat in a bag which I've never heard. He says there is a such thing but I went to 2 grocery stores and they don't have them. Where can I buy this item of food?? Thank you.

Seems like Armour is one brand of dried meat slices. It's sold in a little glass jar. It's used to make SOS (shredded beef in white gravy over toast), popular in the military. Look for it on the canned meats aisle of a grocery, near the deviled ham and Spam and stuff like that. It's a little bitty jar, about 4" high and 2" across.

This is the type of food that is used for camping. Look online or call one of your local camping gear stores in your area.
