Spent lots of time and money to make a large pan of potatoes augratin only to have them come out looking very unpleasant. All ingredients were fresh and the milk was at room temperature before adding it. Is there any thing I can add to help uncurdle the milk to try to save the dish?

I just got a George Foreman, indoor-outdoor electrical grill. I was wondering what are some of your favorite recipes you use to cook on yours.

I had a ton of turkey and cornbread dressing left over. I have froze a large portion of just about everything for later in the year. I was told that cornbread dressing does not freeze well because of the hard boiled eggs in it. Is this true? Should I just throw it out?

Filet Mignon is a fairly large piece of super small portioned meat. I was grilling for Xmas Eve and I had no idea how to properly cook it. I like my MEAT like my Mink, I like it RARE! Some people dont like the mooing that gives off when cut, but how do I cook it? How long do I need to wait without eating ecoli for dinner? When should i remove it from the grill?

I am looking for a new pizza dough recipe - something that isn't the traditional:

Yeast & water
Flour
salt
sugar
oil

I make pizza every month or two, my family prefers homemade to chain pizza or even local restaurant pizzas. While the old standard is a good recipe, I'd like to try something different. Seems that every single pizza dough recipe I get tastes the same, no matter how you switch around or alter the amounts of the main ingredients.

Any ideas? Your favorites? Tried and true recipes? Thanks!

I want to cook french fries like the big boy restaurants do. Not like Mc D's and B.K. I'm really trying to get a crisp and non greasy french fry. Does the type of potato matter? Should I buy a deep fryer?

i've got canned veggies
fresh green pepper onion celery cabbage

i have shrimp, chicken, ground beef, beef steak.

lots of tomatoe(canned) and cream of ____ soups

pasta, and some mccormic gravy packets.. not sure what kinds but i've got like 5 different ones.

Something that doesnt require me to stand forever and "babysit" it.
So its either got to cook fast, or a "open the oven and forget about it till the timer goes off" dinner.

Thanks
(i have a three year old(picky) and a 13 month old(eats everything) eating this & no hubby to impress LOL)

oh, and all my meat is frozen :)

vegetarian meals are good too :)

Im using my grandpas old oven and just realized that the teperature gauge is not accurate. Instead of cooking at 325 I was actually cooking at 390-400. Its been in the oven for 2 hours and the meat has an internal temp of 145. I lowered the heat to 225 and am hoping that by doing so I can still come out with a tender roast. Please help if you have any ideas.

Stew. When i do a stew i usually do potatoes, carrots, some onion and stewing beef or chicken. What other things can i put in that i don't have to soak overnight.. Occasionally i put some dried herbs in just for a better taste..
