i've got canned veggies
fresh green pepper onion celery cabbage

i have shrimp, chicken, ground beef, beef steak.

lots of tomatoe(canned) and cream of ____ soups

pasta, and some mccormic gravy packets.. not sure what kinds but i've got like 5 different ones.

Something that doesnt require me to stand forever and "babysit" it.
So its either got to cook fast, or a "open the oven and forget about it till the timer goes off" dinner.

Thanks
(i have a three year old(picky) and a 13 month old(eats everything) eating this & no hubby to impress LOL)

oh, and all my meat is frozen :)

vegetarian meals are good too :)

Why not do breakfast for dinner and make up some scrambled eggs and toast..

Make shrimp pasta with veggies.. saute the shrimp in some butter, boil the noodles and toss it up with some parmesan cheese

Make hommade hamburger helper... fry up the hamburger add a can of creamed soup with some boiled pasta, add frozen veggies over it

Does your 3-yr old like the traditional green bean casserole? If your child does, then you can do the following - very simple:

Put the canned green beans - drained - in a bowl. Add a can of the cream of whatever soup (preferably mushroom but your choice), saute some onions and toss them in, add some almonds - slivered or sliced - if you have them and if your child likes them. Then chop up some of your meat - if it's raw, zap it in the microwave to thaw then saute it in with the onions - your choice on the meat - chicken, beef or pork work best in this - I love it with ham. If you have those fried onions in the can - add that on the top - if not - then sprinkle with bread crumbs and dot with butter. Put in the oven for 25-30 minutes, go get off your feet and take it easy until it's dinner. One dish and your plates and dishes won't take long either.

Or another one is to zap your ground beef to thaw, shape it into patties and brown on the outside on both sides - don't cook it all the way through. Then dump in your cream of whatever soup, some water, and one of your gravy packets - either dark or light gravy - your choice - stir to combine the gravy packet with the water. Cook the hamburgers in that mixture for 30 minutes while you rest. Serve with a little rice or noodles - whatever your kids prefer. You don't have to stand over it - just add a little more water if it gets low - that will be your gravy.

Have a nice salad or one of your veggies with it.

Hon, try this recipe for dinner. Chop an onion, a green pepper, and brown a pound of ground beef, then add the vegetables, add a can of crushed tomatoes and a box of mixed vegetables, boil 1/2 pound of macaroni and mix it all up then sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese in and then mix it up and serve with a nice salad. Only spices you need are salt and pepper, but you can ramp it up any way you want to serves a bunch and there will be no leftovers. "Onolicious

Oh, I almost forgot to say, you can use frozen ground beef in this recipe. Just put it in frying pan, put the lid on it and cook slowly and occasionally try to break portions of the beef, it will thaw as you go, then add veggies after meat is fully thawed and browning.

Chop up the ham, onions, and green pepper. Put 'em in bowls. Let the kids choose what they want, then put the ingredients on the tortillas. Cover with cheese, bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts.

It's like personal pizza quesadillas.

Forget all that,

Just make mashed potatoes and pour grinded yellow cheddar cheese all over it. So delicious.
