Hush Puppies, Battered Seasoned French Fries and Buttermilk Coleslaw all would go nice with catfish.

Some hushpuppies with green onions i usually use the house-autry mix or some honey buttermilk biscuits. Also have some Texas Pete hot sauce on the table to splash onto the catfish. I love texas pete hotsauce.

Catfish should be breaded in flour and a little cornmeal, salt and pepper and deep fried.
Side dishes are cole slaw, hush puppies, sliced tomatoes, french fries and sweet iced tea.

I think you mean recipes, not reciepts. Anyway, let's see, I lived in Nashville where catfish was popular, and people ate hush puppies and coleslaw with them. I saw some frozen hush puppies in the grocery store recently and tried them, and they were quite good.
Also, maybe you can fry a couple of pieces for your husband, or have him fry them, which would be my choice for my husband, huh?
