I was at starbucks the other day, and this guy ordered a drink that looked good. The bottom half of it was white, and the top half was brown, but I don't know how to order that. I am making anise cookies and somehow I have seriously messed up the recipe. I think the problem was that I didn't beat the eggs enough in the beginning, but anyways the recipe told you to chill the dough and I put it in the fridge for about an hour and a half (this could also be a source of the problem). I took the dough out and it is supposed to be doughy and able to be rolled out and formed into shapes with a cookie cutter. However, the dough was gooey, EXTREMELY sticky, and would not hold any type of shape. Is there any way this recipe can be saved?! :(

My friends were on it around me. one of them couldnt talk and respond and turned extremely pale and threw up
the other one was freaking out saying the hills were popping out, and the other one was fine.

Is there something wrong with me? Everytime I eat something containing meat of any kind I can't help but think about the poor animal that had to die and the cruel ways you hear and see people killing these animals, it gets really upsetting and I can't eat it. I know becoming a vegeterian wont change the world.

Is there anyone else out there who can't quite make the jump to vegetarianism but is wracked with meat-eather's guilt? I had to follow the chicken truck down the interstate today (the one taking them to slaughter) and wanted to cry. Yet I can't quite get away from my cravings for meat. (Even though I mostly eat vegetarian) How can I make it the rest of the way to vegetarianism? One friend suggested eating BEFORE I get hungry, which does help. But does anyone have any other suggestions?

I changed the filter and it didnt help. It seems like it isnt making as much ice. When the ice starts to melt in my glass it makes what ever im drinking taste worse.
