Make the jello...and use the ice cubes for the cold water. Stir until it starts to thicken up a good bit. Remove any little pieces of ice cubes not melted. Choose your fruits, canned drained peaches are good, or pears, all drained of course. Fresh fruits cut up in bite sized pieces work well, such as bananas, strawberries, chopped apple. Add them to the Jello after it gets a bit thick.....otherwise the fruit will sink to the bottom and not be distributed thru the jello. Place it in the fridge for an hour minimum or until serving time...Fresh or Frozen Pineapple and some other fruits will keep the gelatin from thickening. It is listed on the package of jello.

Make jello like you ordinarily would, refridgerate about 90 minutes or until its starts to thicken, then add your fruit. Certain fruits should not be added to the jello, some of these are, pineapple, kiwi, mango. Their enzymes prevent the jello from thickening.

Basically just add a cup or two of fruit like strawberries or kiwis or anything else you like to the mix of jello and let it settle and chill in the fridge with a bowl on top of it and a plate under it ut you should add the fruits slowly and in different time periods, first when it is still like water, then when it gets a little thicker and then you can do whatever you like with it..

What i found is that you make the jell-o and put it in the fridge for 1/2 the time it says and THEN put the fruit of inside it. if you put it in first it will all sink to the bottom, so let it set up a little before putting the fruit in :) sounds yummy :)

While setting the JELL-O in the refridgerator, place a few fruits of your choice inside and the JELL-O will harden with the fruits in it.
