Does 1/8th or even 1/4 of a tsp. really even make a difference? I usually skip those ingredients, or if it's something like garlic, I end up adding at least a TB. What do you think?

Can hummus not have any protein? I always thought it had to contain protein, however the Basha Original hummus from Costco indicates 0 grams of protein per serving.

I had followed the directions completely, used butter, etc. After baking it and letting it set, then placed in refg. Checked it early morning which at that time was gelled. Traveled 20 min to parents house kept it cold and when I went to serve, the gelled center had completely turned to liquid?? What could of happened?

My mom got this from a friend of hers who is Spanish and my mom is Portuguese but I have no clue where her friend got it from. Anyway we make it as appetizers every year for Thanksgiving since I was little and I love them they are so good!!! But we just call them hors d'ourves so I was wondering if anyone could tell me the name?

You buy Pillsbury cresent rolls, unroll the dough into the rectangle (don't break up into triangles) and you spread cream cheese, bacon bits, (fried bacon chopped up) and chopped onions on the dough, then roll it up and refrigerate. The next day you chop them up into little circles, sprinkle parmasean cheese on them, and cook them in the oven. Don't remember for how long. Then let them cool and serve. So damn good!

Anyone one know the name?

How about the Vegan/vegetarian section? A committed vegan/vegetarian can post a question or view at how appalled they are about the killing of animals (like I did last week) and it was removed because it offended meat eaters. What are committed meat eaters in the vegan/vegetarian forum unless they just wish to argue? I have just seen the results of non vegans/vegetarians being outraged at a vegan parent question and I am bamboozled because the vegan/vegetarian forum is there for committed vegans and vegetarians and those who wish to be so why the outrage from meat eaters. If you are not vegan or vegetarian or the food choices of others offend you why come over to a vegan/vegetarian forrum? Why not stay in cooking? I am reading such hateful comments by meat eaters who if unhappy report the convictions of vegans/vegetarians and get their questions removed. Why? Whay can't a committed Vegan/Vegetarian ask a question is a like forrum like this one without being attacked by others ?
