I'm hosting Thanksgiving this year, and am looking for a diabetic-friendly dessert recipe that does not taste like cardboard. The ones I've tried so far have been very bland and boring. It does not have to be easy. I generally make everything from scratch.

Thanks for your help!

Does anyone know where I can get hold of these. I used to be able to buy them in Sainsburys or Tesco, made by Melitta, now neither stocks them. I live in London.

I just bought a box of Montecristo cigarillos. They taste wonderful, and look great.

I've been wondering though, unline the much larger cigars, these cigarillos tend to look about the same diameter throughout.

So... Does this mean I could light it at either end? Or is there a rule to this?

All the ones I looked up in the internet have buttermilk or vinager in it. I'm looking for the one that has celery, carrots, black olives and mayo. But I don't know if there is anything else that goes in it.Like any other veggie or some other spice. Just a simple macaroni salad. THANKS

I have a cheapie plastic sprouter which the seeds clog, producing poor results. I want to buy a top of the line sprouter, but have no idea which brand is best. If it is electric it has to be 220v, as I live in Germany. Any help from you experts would be appreciated.

I have a wedding next week and weddings are a typical drinking session. However I have given up due to having a bit of an alcohol problem, I've been of it 6 months or so and this is going to be a real test for me and I don't want to fail. I don't want people knowing I had a drinking problem, but everyone will be offering to buy me drink and there is only so many cokes you can drink. If you don't accept they think you are being rude, so I don't know what to do. I don't even want to go to it because of this but my wife is making me.

HELP???

For the last few months, I have been having intense cravings for cream soda; however, I do not typically drink full-sugared soft drinks because of their high calorie counts.

I've been researching A&W's Diet Cream Soda because the product is not sold anywhere in my area. Before I order a 12 pack (or more!) of the drinks, I want to make sure the taste is at least comparable to the original full-calorie version.

So, how is it?

Everyone cant enjoy all food. Each one of us wil have likes and dislikes and acordingly food that they simply cant or wont eat/enjoy. So my question is, will a chef prepare meals comprising food they dislike, and if so, how do they know if it tastes good or not(assuming they taste it as they go)?

I'm not 21 and have never been much of a drinker. A bunch of my friends are taking me out tonight and I don't know what kind of beer to have. I was told Red Stripe and Corona are two beers that have an easy taste to them and are easy to drink.

Are those two beers that I should try or should I lean towards another one? If so, what do you recommend?

Thanks!

I just made it 43 seconds and had to spit it out and rinse with water. My mouth is still very tingly. Ouch.
