Yes, there are stray yeast in the air that will ferment your liquid.

This method was the source of Lambic style beer, which often has a fruity flavor due to the wild yeast.

I think that you can ferment this using the wild yeast, but you probably will not be able to do so if you put a balloon on it after you add the sugar. I would leave it opened for a while, maybe 6 hours. Then put the balloon on it...or some other thing to allow pressure out without letting stuff in.

Sure, if you know what you are doing. Make sure that the juice contains no preservatives. Use a real wine yeast. You can pick it up from a homebrew shop or online. Go the the website of Winemaker magazine. Click on Reader Resources. That will give you links to the advertisers' catalogs. Also, be sure to sanitize everything. Get a book by CJJ Berry, such as his First Steps in Home Winemaking. His others are good too. Nice recipes.

Put whatever you want to ferment in a plastic soda bottle add sugar if it needs it then put it in the sun with a balloon on the top of the soda bottle. Wait 10 days and sample.

Wild yeast can ferment whatever you're making, but it will probably be undrinkable. Ask your family to send you dry brewers yeast.
