I've heard recently that some vegetarians and vegans are upset with PETA because of the "horrible" things they do and the lies they tell us. Is this true? I've also heard that most vegetarians/vegans don't support PETA because of specific reason, though I don't know what those are. Can you please elaborate and give details? I'm so confused. I've always supported PETA, but now I"m reconsidering this. ??? Help, please!

It seems like I'll spend 5 minutes patting the bottom of the bottle (like I'm burping a baby) and nothing happens and then BAM! half the bottle pours out and immediately drowns all my fries.

Any suggestions???

I recently stayed for a few days with an Italian family as I was traveling through Europe, and the girl my age there told me she doesn't really know what I like to eat and what we have in our country. I am planning on sending her a box of some "American" foods or foods she might not have had I like. Only problem is: I don't know what those would be. Any suggestions? Also, any other things you think she would enjoy? Thanks!

I found an online recipe for homemade ginger ale (sugar, water, yeast, flavor), and decided to make some. I have a few questions. The recipe used a 2l bottle, but i didn't want that much so i used a .5l bottle instead, dividing all ingredients by 4. Will this have any adverse effects on the soda? also, there was a warning that there will be alcohol in the finished product. If i just left it out for like a week would i end up with some kind of carbonated alcoholic drink? Is there a high risk of other stuff being in the bottle that could make me sick (i rinsed it out with hot water before hand, but...)?

Thanks in advance for any and all responses!

When cooking peanut butter cookies, is there a reason to smash them down with a fork before cooking them? Or do you just do it because everybody else does?

I've begun my drinking adventure after recently turning 21, however I have yet to find a beer that I really enjoy. I'm looking for something possibly sweet and not too hoppy or bitter. Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance.
