I love animals and I want to protect them. I LOVE eating meats. I think it will be almost impossible to stop eating meats. Any suggestions on how I should start and tips on being a vegetarian?

Here's the deal--I really want to be vegetarian. The thought of eating flesh just grosses me out and I can't stand the idea of animals dying for me. The thing is...and I know this is awful but I would really miss eating fish. And I dont want to be one of those people who say they are veg but then eat fish. That really isn't right. I need you to convince me to go vegetarian. Really gross me out. Give me facts to make me never want to touch meat again. I appreciate it!

My sweet 16 is tomorrow!! Yay! I want to have a halloween sweet sixteen, and I was wondering if you guys had any game ideas. Also, I am gunna have a coffin and put my cake in it, and keep the lid closed, so no one knows what is in the coffin. My dad did this with a Subway sandwich, and pretended to have a funeral. He would say stuff like "This guy was such a 'ham'. Or "this person was good at 'bacon'(baking)" I was wondering you you guys could come up with an obituary or something like that, for my cake. (It's a chocolate cake if that helps at all! :D LOL!!) Thanx so much!! =)

I really want these, but I am staying away from any shoes that were made from animals, and I'm really new to this stuff. They look like they would be, but I want more opinions.

Quick survey- anyone here who is not from Utah and has never been to Utah ever heard of funeral potatoes? They're a kind of statewide dish, basically a potato casserole. I know it's more of a local thing (like fry sauce or lime jello with carrots), but I'm wondering if it's spread. For that matter, how far has fry sauce spread? I was in a McDonald's in Paris and they had packets of fry sauce, but it turned out to be mayo. Thoughts?

My family eats a lot of chicken breast. Their favorite is chicken cutlette or just baked with BBQ sauce.

I want to try something else but I'm not sure what to try.

Do you have any ideas on how else to prepare the chicken?

I have a bunch of fresh collards that's been in a plastic produce bag in the fridge for about 4 days. The leaves are a little wilted/limp and I was wanting to know if they are still safe to cook?

My sister just returned from Normandy. I asked her to bring me something typically French, so she brought some Camembert ( d' Isigny). I know the cheese will still be "unripe" in the centre and the trick is to catch it at 4-5 weeks when the cheese turns soft and aromatic (?). But there's no date stamp to give me a clue.... should the condition/colour of the rind (crust) give me a clue???

Ok. So I'm sending a certain brand of chips and juice from St. Louis. Reason is because they don't sell these types in California. Its for my boyfriends birthday. And so far I have ripped the box (you know how they have it folded flat when you buy it...well I ripped one of the corners and I taped it up and it looks so amateur-ish).

But I'm sending both the chips and juice in the same box...knowing how uncareful the UPS guys are, I'm sure they'll be tossed around. By the time it arrives to the person the chips are going to be crushed from being hit by ALL 8 of the juice cans. So what do I do about that?

And do I HAVE to put who its from?

My sister in law put bananas in my cupboard to age for banana bread and I forgot about them and left for five days... when I came back I looked in my cupboard and there were maggots in the bowl of bananas......I got rid of a bunch of food but there were like fruit flies almost flying around I tried to kill as many as I could. Do you think I'm gonna have a maggot problem now...my house is very clean

I need to drink mineral water as part of a heavy metal detox treatment but I just can't stand the carbonation (I never drink soda for same reason) and I really don't like the taste of the water. Is there any mineral water that is just like regular bottled spring water?

If it´s ok to substitute, how much powder should I use?

6 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened baking chocolate
1 cup evaporated milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
6 tablespoons butter or margarine

Cut chocolate into small pieces. Put all of the ingredients into a blender. Cover. At low speed, blend until larger pieces are chopped. Stop motor and stir. Blend at high speed until frosting becomes thick and creamy.
