I have a bunch of fresh collards that's been in a plastic produce bag in the fridge for about 4 days. The leaves are a little wilted/limp and I was wanting to know if they are still safe to cook?

Soak the leaves in an icewater bath for about 15 minutes. They should crisp up and you can cook them.

as long as the greens have'nt lost their coloring by having(light green, yellow spots) you can soak them in cold salt water in the sink and this should not only clean them, but give them back some cripsness.

you can tell by the smell(stinky) the look(brown spots, slimey)
just because they are limp or wilted they might not be bad, but if they are smelly or slimey they are bad.

When they are yellowish and the rims of the leaves are brown, they are too old.Wilted will not hurt...
