Sorry, but chili, bbq, burgers and that type of thing hardly qualify as unique :) This game is in the upper/mid south this weekend. Tailgate starts at 3:00. Weather should be around 80.

I put ketchup and mustard on mine, yellow mustard. Sometimes I do chili and cheese and onions when I'm out.

How do you handle your grocery's for a month? I subscribe to Rachel Ray and Taste of Home Magazines.. and always find great recipes that don't call for many more ingrediants than we have stocked in the pantry. We have $300 dollars a month for groceries, for a family of 5. (alothough many nights we end up feeding more- when family memebers stop by) I was only going to the grocery store 1 time a month- but that isn't working because the fruit/veggies dont stay fresh.. so i need to start going more a month. How do you plan it? Do you go once a week? once every 2 weeks? Once a month? Also- how do you plan meals and stick to your budget. I find that when i come up with meals for everynight of the week every month- that not matter how cheap i try and keep it- the money and groceries only covers dinners- and then we end up skimping on lunches- no big deal during the week while kids are in school- but on weekends it's more of an issue. So what are some ideas/tips for me?

I was assigned Japan in my cooking class, and I am supposed to cook 3-5 different Japanese dishes. Any good suggestions (besides sushi)? It doesn't necessarily have to be an easy one. ;)

My boyfriend wanted to have a huge party for his birthday, but it was way to late to plan and the idea fell through. Now he wants to have a backyard barbeque at his house. What type of food should you have at a barbeque in October? What can you do outside? Let's face it, it's a little chilly. I was thinking either steaks or just hot dogs, maybe some corn on the cob and potatoe/maccaroni salad, baked beans, a garden salad, and of course the cake (well, actually pie because he's not much on cake) for desert. What are some fun things to do at a barbeque?

isn't it a shame they couldn't design a meat industry capable of making use of it

....a quarter of a million perfectly healthy lambs to be incinerated, or used as bio-diesel......

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/7035225.stm

Starve them to death, or incinerate them...what a shameful world we live in.

My question being......what part of "the meat industry treats animals well" is this ?
