my sister birthday is coming up, lately she has taken some intererst in vegetarian food and cooking, and i thought this can be a great B-day present for her.
so i am thinking maybe two books.
BTW i will be buying the books via amazon so any links to books on that site will be great.

Look up any books by Deborah Madison. That's what I did for a friend. Or any Moosewood cookbook.

The moosewood cookbooks are excellent for vegetarians who enjoy tasty, healthy, and original recipes. I had the pleasure of actually visiting the moosewood restaurant this summer (in Ithaca, New York) and their food is splendid. I'm greek orthodox and we're fasting more than not most of the year....my favorite cook books are: The Greek Vegetarian and The Lenten Cook Book.

I like Sarah Kramer and Tanya Barnard's "How it All Vegan!" and "Garden of Vegan" as well as Sarah Kramer's "La Dolce Vegan!"
Isa Chandra Moskowitz's "Vegan with a Vengeance" and "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World" are also fun.

are you indian ? well you can give sanjeev kapoor's indian vegetarian book or tarla dalal .... check up the site they have there own sites u can buy books through that !
