I've heard that if you boil vegetables...the nutrients would be lost. Is this true or it it an old granny's myth?
What about keeping vegetables in the freezer? Would the vegies lose the nutrients again when we take them out to cook?

In all honesty, the sound of chewing (open or closed mouth) REALLY bothers me. I mean, it gets to the point where the sound is under my skin and literally takes all of my effort not to explode with irritability. I try to ignore it, but whenever I notice it I can't take my mind off of it. The weird thing is, I can listen to animals eat, but I can't stand hearing people eat.
I can't explain the irritability that builds up inside me. It's horrible!

I'm having my son's birthday party in a very elegant banquet hall. The place is absolutely beautiful. The place provides China for dinner; however, I need to buy plates for the appetizers and dessert. And cups for pop, alcohol drinks, etc. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can buy plastic tableware!? It doesn't matter if it's from a store or a website. I was looking for plasticware that has something like flowers designed on them...something very pretty. Please let me know if you anything about this. I really need your help.

I made a small, 8x8 Gay fawkes cake from a recipe i found in a Joy of Cooking book. The cake is like a gingerbread, just no cinnamon and more molasses. I want to know what icing to use on it, on that will complement the taste. If anyone has any ideas, plaese post. Oh, and if i had access to a grocery store i would have already bought icing, thank you, but as i son't please don't post about pre-made icing....

About half of the time I drink Bottled water it has a plastic flavor to it. I've tried different brands (poland spring, etc)
I'm sure they dont leavee the factory tasting like plastic. Somewhere along the delivery route they must sit out in the hot sun or something. Sometimes they taste clean and pure, but sometimes the same brand will taste like plastic.

okay ive eating meat all my life which has been 12 years.. and i really want to become vegan..... but my whole family eats meat daily so it hard to get away from, i dont have a problem staying away from milk an other stuff like that cuz i already hate it just actual meats turkey chicken beef etc. get to me ive tried becoming a vegan and i only lasted 2 months because my family always eats meats aroud me. Okay so I want to become a vegitarian but my parents will NOT allow it. They love meat but I just don't like it. I went to kentuckyfriedcruelty.com and peta and the things animals go through disgusts me. My parents make me eat meat and when I do I feel like puking it all up. Recently I have been trying to cut down on the meat and my parents say If I don't eat enough meat I won't be able to have dinenr anyways what should I do?
