About half of the time I drink Bottled water it has a plastic flavor to it. I've tried different brands (poland spring, etc)
I'm sure they dont leavee the factory tasting like plastic. Somewhere along the delivery route they must sit out in the hot sun or something. Sometimes they taste clean and pure, but sometimes the same brand will taste like plastic.

water absorbs chemicals from the plastic ..
. glass does not have this problem and the liner on the soda cans helps there to be little taste.
they have plastics that are denser and seep less of the plastic taste into the water. the stiffer clearer plastic bottles seem to seep less into the water making it have less of a plastic taste.

this is a big problem they are working on who ever figures it out might make a great deal of money ..

it would be really cool if we had a bottle that had no taste and could be recycled. oh wait that was the glass bottles we use to use..

It is because they regularly replace their "water lines" with new plastic lines. It does not taste like a plastic bottle: it tastes like a garden hose. Ever drink from a garden hose?

Hmmm, I never experienced this before. I love water, maybe that's why.

Try freezing a bottle overnight in your fridge, that way you know where your water really comes from and you won't have to pay for it!
