I like Cortland's the best. Apparently different varieties of apples ripen at different times. I've been to several orchards this past week and they all say it's too early for Cortland's. I ask when they will be selling them and they just shrug and say something to the effect "When they're ready." So...when do Cortland's ripen enough to sell...early October, mid-October, late October?

My favorite is made from scratch mashed potatoes, with minced onions, sea salt, black pepper, bacon drppings, a pinch of fresh parsley, butter & sour cream. Gravy is not even necessary.

Hello ,

I'm looking for a really good wine,Taste is really an issue for me I don't like alcohol because of the strong taste even lighter stuff such as strawberry based margaritas has to be very dull with more fruit and less alcohol because I just hate the taste .I enjoy fruit so a wine that is maybe fruit based will appeal to me. I don't mind if it's sweet. When in comes to wine I'm just at a lost because this is completely foreign territory and I'm not really sure what to try .I don't have a preference in red or white although on TV I have heard people say red can taste very strong like vinegar lol which isn't good .my main factor is just taste .

Your help would really help me out I'm having a dinner and I'd like to introduce wine .

i ate these whole wheat crackers today and a few days ago i took the worlds most powerful laxative as i hadnt pooped in a week. and i ate whole wheat cracker today. will they make you go. can the laxative still kick in even after a few days after taking it? i gotta know if its whole wheat stuff or laxatives that make me crap more.

I am planning a BBQ for 30 adults and 8 kids. We are contemplating having pork chops, hamburgers, and hot dogs on the grill. We are currently planning on making the pork chops first and keeping them warm in the oven. What is the best way to do this without drying them out? Specific suggestion re: the best way to cook the pork chops, time to start cooking, a recipe for a favorite sauce, and oven temperature would all be helpful!
