That's a very interesting question. I think that's why people mix the red bull with alcohol. Not sure what is in it............myself, I just go slow and steady. But if I do drink beer, I'm gone. Try to make sure you drink water too, or you run the risk of a handover. (dehydration)
Have Fun!

I would suggest a gin and tonic because it will keep you buzzed and the sweetness of the the soda (sugar) will give you energy to stay up but drink in moderation. If you drink them too fast, you will defeat the purpose and you will end up being full which will make you tired.
Another drink that will keep you up and buzzed pretty good is take a red bull (energy) with vodka (no taste) and chug it. Do it every couple hours but beware, if your heart starts pulsating and you cannot control your energy, stop the drink immediately. Then go with vodka tonic. You do not want to change liquors because you will not last the night.

U could drink V-8 with vodka...I hear the vitamins in the vegetable juice can reduce the symptoms of headache. B12, good stuff. And there's the rule of not mixing your alcohols. And Hair of the Dog...just keep the buzz gong with a cold Brewski...
Bring some aspirins anyway....have fun!

Drink water, too. Not just alcoholic drinks. It's the dehydration that makes for the horrible hangover the next day. Also, be sure to eat while you're drinking. It helps absorb some of the alcohol, and makes you feel less sick to your stomach. Also, if you're eating something, and suddenly feel the need to throw up, you'll at least bring something up, and not have dry heaves. Those are the worst. Ick.

Beer because you can nurse a beer for a long time so once you are buzzed you can maintain. If you can't have fun without being buzzed you might need to consider quitting drinking.

Slow is the way to go...don't drink any straight alcohol. Drink wine or mixed drinks with lots of juice. It may make you tired but hey take it slow and you will get far.

drink beer - it has enough water in it (generally) to keep you hydrated, while you imbibe in alchohol. Red Bull is good for your caffeine source, but it is also dehydrating. I say drink a lot of water before you go to bed and take a couple Advil before you go to sleep.
