I am going back to college tomorrow, and I just realized that I have absolutely nothing ready to eat for lunch. I want to bring something from home, because the cafeteria is way too risky, and I probably will wind up with a bag of chips and a plastic fork for lunch, lol. So what are some suggestions? I was thinking maybe a ziplock bag with some cornflakes and a peach. But idk really, any ideas are greatly appreciated!

...because they already put their toppings away. And it was a whole HOUR before the shop closes! The same ice cream shop did this to me two times. Can I sue them? Like I know I CAN but like should I? Cause I want to.

Well its my first time in a bar or club and I was wondering how am I supposed to order a drink? I mean… I’ve heard of some people saying rum and coke. So do I just go up to the bartender and ask for a rum and coke? Oh and I don’t want anyone to know that its my first time… so any suggestions on drinking and how to order a drink would be really appreciated. I’m 19 btw, so just turned legal :)

oh and do they sell non-alcoholic drinks in a bar or nightclub? i'm talking about the fancy kinds... also the smaller pubs? lol thanks

I mean think about if ur cooking like everday....that takes electricity as well...so you can't just consider the price you pay for the food...electric bills can get high...I would think it would only be cheaper to eat at hom if you have a big family! and if you eat leftovers then yeah u save money! cause ur spending alot more money basically its like times how many ppl u have at ur house.....

I love Noodles and Co.'s tofu, but I have NO idea how to make it! I've looked at recipes online, and I've tried TONS, but I can't get the texture like Noodle's and Co. has it. When I make it, its mushy (I use firm tofu), and Noodle's and Co. has it firmer (more rubbery.. I know it doesn't sound good to be rubbery, but that's the texture I'm looking for). Anyone have any ideas on how to make the tofu firmer when I put it in the frying pan??

Mine was breakfast and I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Croatia.
My uncle made this tomato and egg breakfast. Home grown tomatos made into some sauce and eggs sort of scrambles with crusty bread. OMG the best!!!

Everything I think of is too strachy- like potatoes or corn. Don't like spinach so don't even suggest greens of any kind. Thanks!

So my stepdad was really big in boy scouts, and he would always get us the boy scout popcorn. It was so good! by far the best popcorn I have ever had....

Well unfortunately, he passed away about 2 years ago from cancer.

I was wondering where to get that popcorn again, he was the only place we got it from, and none of the kids sell it in front of grocery stores any more.

I live in southern california, by the way.

A self proclaimed know-it-all friend of mine seems to think OJ does the trick. I've told him several times that milk always works the best for me. I've tried bread that never seems to work.

I've never been the biggest meat eater unless I was craving iron or something, but its been getting progressivley less...I am just not interested. This would be fine for me, except that my husband is a carnivore...he is the meat and potatos guy without the potato part. I dont want to eat a bunch of stuff I dont want, but I do not want to force my husband to do the same...he was upset enough when I suggested one vegetarian meal a week! What can I do? I dont want to have to make two sets of meals, one for me one for him...and which of the two options would be healthier for my 9 month old son?

Oh, and while important, please do not hound me with the moral aspect...that is not the part of this dilemna i'm trying to deal with at the moment.

I buy everything from Walmart. Except their beef. I live near a Food Lion (gross store, amazing steaks and hamburger!) and must buy meat there because WMs is so...it's just gross. What do they do to it??
