My girlfriend is from New York and misses some dishes that used to eat, that she can't find in Texas, and she wants to have her friend send her something, but needs to know if it is even possible.

Trying to keep an alcoholic family memeber from it. She will be going to rehab soon. However when she gets out. How can I keep the local stores from selling it to her. Do I go to all the sotres in a ten mile radius. Asking them not to sell to her. Or are they just gonna laugh at me. What do I do?

When I was a young'un (about, ohh, 23) I used to be able to "do" vodka. I love vodka! It tastes ok, doesn't cause hangovers, and most of all, it "works" with me, it would make me much more relaxed and affable, totally non-violent drink for me. Nowadays, I have 4 Vodkas and cokes and have to stop. I'm not relaxed and affable (aka "drunk"), that amount of alcohol has little pyschological effect TBH, but it attacks my head instead until I get a dizziness so violent, accompanied by that "moving vision", that I am sometimes sick from it.
Why has this started happening? Is it like my body's defence board saying "OK. This guy likes vodka/alcohol a bit too much, let's make it hard for him to drink it and hard to get drunk"?

I'm looking for a recipe using boneless chicken breasts, no canned soups or sauces, no added veggies. I want a simple recipe where you just add dry spices/seasonings, maybe butter or olive oil. PLEASE also give baking time and temp, I am a new cook. Thank you! :)

I used to buy small jars of shrimp cocktail at my local grocery store and they were GREAT for a low-fat, healthy, mid-afternoon snack. I haven't seen them around in years now! Does anyone know what I'm talking about or know of a brand that I can research?

I forgot how to make home made filling ,it's like pudding.
I remmember that it contains flour eggs and sugar but I don't remmember the amounts. I know that it has to be cooked for a while on the stove until it combined, cooled and that fill the cake.
I would be happy to recieve answers .
Thanks

Hi, I asked a cooking question earlier and the response was great!
Ok, here's what I have to cook with. I have a whole chicken, green beans (3 big cans), diced tomatoes, carrots (sliced canned), canned green beans, asparagus (in a glass jar)noodles(spagettinoodles, lasagnia noodles, and pasta noodles), cheddared cheese (cambell's canned), spaghetti sauce, and whole tomatoes (canned), onions and chicken broth.

What can I make?

Thanks a bunch. :D

That is a very interesting study, but in also in a recent study, one very interesting conclusion was found concerning 600 case studies(now remember, the FDA approves drugs on a regular basis with case studies as low as 30-50) of people 600 people who lived to be 100 years old or greater...are you ready?

Not a single vegetarian among them, not 1.

There may be something to eating a balanced diet(regardless of ones personal beliefs, just a certain people refuse to let their children have a blood transfusion, while watching their child die) since in reality, the human being is a predator(like ALL predators have eyes located at the front of the temporal lobes), and the canine teeth which we all posses are designed specifically to rip flesh.

I was a "veggie" for six months as an experiment while in college, and frankly, my options as far as food was fairly bland. Food and sex SHOULD be enjoyable as well as healthy(in moderation).

This is a silly question, but how do I get frozen hash browns to come out like they do at restaurants (Denny's, IHOP, etc.)? Whenever I make them at home, they're not crisp and crunchy like they are at restaurants, and they don't have the same flavor. What's the trick? Do they use a particular brand? Do they fry them in oil, and if so, what kind? Or is it butter? Should the pan be extra hot?
