1. Go to your favorite restaurant, ask the waitress what she recommends and order that.
2. Get the menu ahead of time and decide between three new items what you're going to order
3. Ask for one of your companions ideas or let them order for you.
4. Try a totally new place to go
I order different things at different places depending on what I'm hungry for, and I try new things after the 3rd visit. However, if you are going to a restaurant that specializes in your favorite food, then why bother to order something else?
Outback: Halibut or Crab Legs (I prefer my own steak!)
MiMi's: Onion Soup and Asian salad
Mama Suzanna's: Spaghetti Bolognese
Olive Garden: Soup and Salad
Chili's: Ribs
Max's: Reuben Sandwich

Some like going to different restaurants and eat the same thing every time and compare. Others like going to the same restaurants and eat different things every time and compare. So I say its not the food that matters as much as the company you are eating with. Bon apetit!

So much food, so many calories! It depends on my mood. I prefer local restaurants over big chains, but, for steak (my favorite food), you can't go wrong with Outback!
