Has anyone else noticed this? What is it? And why do people drink the stuff?

Not sure about fish, but it tastes and smells very salty to me. Give me a 7-Up anyday.

It doesn't taste like fish to me...maybe you eat a lot of fish that is prepared with lemon (which is very common) and because Sprite has a lemon-lime flavor, you are getting the tastes of each confused. That's the only explanation I can come up with. And people drink it because it is good! I don't think a fishy tasting beverage would be so popular.

FISH!! God no. I don't taste anything like fish in Sprite. Are you sure you drunk Sprite and did not mix it with anything else??

Some of the people at the Sprite works use it for hygienic purposes, then return it to the vat.

brush your teeth. that could be the problem
the chemicals on the stank of your lips just cant mix with sprite. so it produces a horrible taste.

I always thought Sprite taste like lemon-lime. People drink it because it's refreshing (carbonated) and delicioius (sweetened) and satsifying (hydration)!

It is the drink of Satan as far as i am concerned. Teach you to try the stuff. It's a kiddies drink maybe they are trying to put them off soda
