Yes it is possible and done all the time, my brother lives in Lakenheath, England and my mother ships food to him all the time. Depends on what you ship as to how it should be sent and pakaged.

IE: Dry Ice, Over night etc.

You can ship prepared foods like cookies, cakes, and candy through the US Postal Service. Have them mark it as "Perishable." Some states will not allow raw fruits and vegetables, but anything else should be OK. Check with the Texas Department of Agriculture to see if they have restrictions on the type of food you want to send.

You can ship food through the mail. You will have to purchase a box that can keep food cold. Talk to the people at Fed Ex or another shipping company.

When I was going to school in Iowa, i would always bring food with me from Texas in a rolling cooler on the airplane. The people at the airport will ask you if its dry ice in there and if it is then they will not let it on. just an FYI for you.
