arent most cola's the same? I'm not a big cola drinker but I do notice that some people are very picky about not drink the other cola if the one they prefer is not available what's the big deal???

i do not have a strong stomach when it comes to dairy foods, but once in a blue moon i do like ice cream(chocolate). for some reason when i am eating ice cream, i have to have water. i have been like that for years. i usually drink a full bottle if not more when i eat it! strange i know. does anyone out there have the same thing? i wonder why i am like that!

Alright here's a basic rundown of what I have in mind (remember I want it to be tasty and authentic but nothing to "extreme")-

for an appetizer I was thinking of like a minestrone or some kind of soup...

for an entree I want something chicken with pasta (no seafood) any other ideas are welcome.

and i'd like a cheesecake of some sort for dessert.

so just give me some ideas and the recipes and I'll be a happy camper! any questions- dont hesitate to ask!

I can't cook, at all, but I want to make a nice dinner for my boyfriend (he does all the cooking usually) What are some good meals that are straight forward and easy to make involving prefereably steak or beef, but a good pasta dish would be ok too... something beyond the obvious spaghetti or tacos would be great...Any other tips would be greatly appreciated as well. I'm asking on here because I tried looking at some cook books, but I couldn't figure out which ones would be easy, and which ones I would be likely to mess up.

Friends of my son are having a graduation party for a graduating senior, which is being catered. In the invitation, they asked for an RSVP and $25.00 to attend the party. There was also a note enclosed asking parents to be chaperones at a discounted price of $10.00.
I consider it tacky and in bad taste, my son's and I will not attend. Most of the seniors and parents will NOT attend either.
Hey.......a graduation party is supposed to be fun.............and if the hosts want a party?

Have any of you ever felt that people think veggies feel superior to meat eaters? I went to a party, and when people found out I was a veggie (because I wouldn't eat any of the meat dishes), they would do their (high school level) whispering behind my back. When I got up to get some food they all looked at me like I was an alien. Granted I don't think there were many veggies in that town, but I felt like I was the one doing something bad. Any of you have had the same experience. If so, how did you deal with it?

Oh by the way, I am not saying that meat eaters are bad, I know I'll have 5 answers that tell me that I'm hating on them. READ THIS CAREFULLY: I AM NOT SAYING THEY ARE BAD!

I never was his biggest fan but....
I saw a trailer for the 'F' word (his T.V.Show) and he told a member of Girls aloud ' that vegetarians were not welcome. There was another trailer for E4 - I think, where they ask a few 'talking heads' who they last lied to and he says 'A vegetarian' (it wouldn't be funny if they sued him would it?) I hadn't realised how much he hates veggies.

I don't mind any one eating meat as long as they are ok with me being a vegan. So why are people like Gordon so full of spite towards us?

For me..this answer is a no brainer!!..YES!!!!!!!!......I know sOmeone who thinks that they can drink like this and still Be 'sober enough' to drive. ....last night he began drinking around 4:30 p.m. ....approx 7 beer. ....'til about 8:30 p.m. ....then drove around 8:30. ....He doesn't seem to think that this is a problem. ...I beg to differ!...what do all Of U think?
