That depends on what the temperature is on the counter/in the fridge.

On the average:
on the counter - 3 hours and 48 minutes
in the fridge - 6 hours and 24 minutes
Tip: If you add salt, it'll last longer.

A pail or a big bucket?It would depend on the heat.Where I live in Ca.,it would last maybe 2 hours.In fridge 1/2 day......Use a paper bag or box with a plastic bag in it,it will last a lot longer,experience talking now.I do that when we picnic,so everything goes in the trash....And I hate to clean the cooler.

It depends on the size of the bucket, ice will stay frozen longer in a lager bucket.
It depends on the type of material the bucket is made from, ice will stay frozen longer in a foam insulated bucket than in a simple metal bucket.
It depends on the size of the ice cubes, larger cubes will stay frozen longer than smaller cubes.
It depends on the ambient temperature, either of the room of the fridge.
It depends on how cold the ice was when it was taken out of the freezer. Ice at 0 degrees (F) will stay frozen longer than ice as 32 degrees (F).
There are too many factors to give you a simple answer.

OMG UR JUST A WINNER...IT ALL DEPENDS ON THE AMT OF ICE ..ALOT TAKES A LONG TIME A LITTLE WILL MELT FAST!! THINK A LITTLE HARDER NEXT TIME.
