Yes, the 1.1 billion Catholics in the world and the 65 million Catholics in the United States eat and drink just like everyone else.
Except during Lent when we fast and pray.
With love in Christ.

There are roman catholics born in USA and eat like any other people, maybe they don't eat meat on lent (friday),but there is no difference.
Roman catholic is a complete name for being catholic, people from all over the world are called roman catholic.

Well, I'm Roman Catholic and I'm a US citizen. I eat whatever I want to. Are you thinking that Roman Catholic is different than Catholic like Orthodox Jews have different customs than non-Orthodox?
The only time we alter our food habits is during Lent when we observe the custom of not eating meat on Fridays and fasting on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.
