arent most cola's the same? I'm not a big cola drinker but I do notice that some people are very picky about not drink the other cola if the one they prefer is not available what's the big deal???

Pepsi is sweeter than Coca-Cola Classic. Most people who prefer Pepsi seem to prefer it because of the sweeter taste. Likewise, most people who prefer Coca-Cola Classic seem to prefer it because it is not as sweet and seems to have more of a carbonated "bite" than Pepsi.
The New Coke formula that came out in the 1980's was supposed to replicate Pepsi's sweeter formula, but it was a bomb.

I prefer Coke because Pepsi is too sweet, to me Coke has more cola taste.

In our home, we prefer Coke because of the 'bite' which we find missing in pepsi. pepsi is almost like drinking sugar water with little colour! :)

i like pepsi better, it has more sweetness...maybe...its just something about pepsi that tastes so much better than coke to me, but i really cant explain what it is...

The sweetness levels are different....
Coke is better...better carbination and its not sweet.
Pepsi you might as well just eat sugar by the spoon and get it over with.
