I eat a lot of very spicy food including very hot curries etc. My freind has recently been diagnosed with a stomach ulser and the doctor blames this on his diet, which is similar to mine.
I want to know apart from the risk of putting on weight, are hot curries bad for you? and why?

I soaked a pound of red bean last night and before I left for work I placed them in my slow cooker with water and set it on low...(I added onions and garlic and my seasonings, which now I am reading recipes and those say to wait on the salt so I hope I didn't mess up) anyways when do I add my sausage...my plan was to run home on my lunch break and add the sausage but I'm not sure if it will get greasy or what...some say to add sausage 30 mins prior to it being done, but I don't have time for that..it needs to be done when my husband gets home tonight....what I am asking is ...
Is it going to be too salty b/c I already added my seasonings?
When to add sausage..and if I add at lunch it will cook for 4hrs..is that ok?
Please I need someone who has cooked this in their crockpot...

We serve bagels, muffins, and breakfast breads to our guests and residents for Grand Rounds. Also juice, coffee- regular and decaf- and fruit or fruit bars. How much would this cost us?

For work I need recipes for sauces for seafood and fish items. They need to be able to hold for a long time, and they need to be made in big batches. (like 3-4 gallons) I am looking for sauces that are different, not like tarter, cocktail, dill, etc... any suggestions?

I'm making a very tough to bake cake from scratch, the recipe calls for cooling the cake 2 hours in the refrigerator before frosting....Do I cool it still in the pan, or do I take it out of the pan to cool it?

Imagine-you come out of Wal Mart-could use a cold one. Instead of having to settle for a Pespi you can drop in a buck in a vending machine and get a ice cold can of Bud or your other favorite brew to help take the edge off on your way home.
Wouldnt that be a great idea?
