What are some snacks/food that go good with champagne? I decided at the last minute I wanted to stop on my home from work to get some champagne. What can I get to go wtih it? Something informal. Thanks!

crackers and cheese thats always a good bet, and everyone says strawberries but i didnt like the taste of them with champagne. I have always enjoyes chocolate when drinking champagne, oh and i love flavored champagnes, my favorite is pear, you can get peach and other flavors also. . .

you may think that I am crazy but try this but read it the whole way
If you have a mac Donald's around get two big macs
you need 3 inch tooth picks too
stick 9 tooth pick into the top of the of the bun and cut them into small pieces 9 equal parts
the sodium from the burgers and the sweet from the wine goes together so well that you will not believe what you are eating
and if you don't believe me just by one big mac and see how it goes and after it is gone you are going to say
WHY DIDN'T I GET THREE BIG MACS

Strawberries, and you could even get some chocolate to melt and dip them in.
Caramel and apples might be nice too, but that gets a little sticky.

caviar, fine cheese (brie, havarti), crackers, olives, fruit. Eat as the Romans did.
