I don't have a grill, so I'm using the stovetop. The recipe said to cook it on high for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Well, each side got burned a little and the inside is still bleeding. Help?

I bake all my bread at home rather than buy it. Its cheaper and it takes better. However, it does dry out quickly. The dried ends get cut off and cubed so the rest of the loaf can be used. My dilema: I need more things to use the dried bread for than bread pudding and stuffing! It rarely stays in sliced form, so French Toast is hard to manage.

What are some good recipies for dry cubed bread for a family whose tastes are not very adventurous?

I got my first Jamba Juice today and it wasnt that bad. but the one thing I didnt like were all the hard little bits in it. I know it may sound like a dumb question but these are from the strawberrys right? I got the Berry Lime. could these come from the Rassberrys also? Next time I want to get it without the hard bits, if I have to remove stuff I will.

I'm thinking of becoming a bartender when I get older, not as my only job, more of a night job since they don't make much. I've found a site that is perfect for different drink combinations and what you need to know. But I can't find any info on bartender tricks. I know that in most bars the tenders flip bottles and pour the drinks in fancy ways, but there's no sites that tell you the different kinds and how to do them. Does anyone else know any?

Question for Americans:

Fortunately I go to Québec often enough to stock up on horsemeat roasts and steaks which are sold in most supermarkets and public markets there.

Are there any American meat packers or supermarkets that offer (for sale in the USA - I know that most of the horsemeat sold in Europe is from the US) horsemeat for human consumption? Any artisan butcher shops in your area that do so?
