Also have Tomato soup , dated Nov. 2003 . Is it unsafe to use now ?

i know that an ingrediant is used in making the real ales and beers is fish, and it is used to make the liquid clear and not cloudy... however, dowes this ingrediant sink to the bottom of the barrel so when the beer/real ale is pulled through, the fish does not come through too.

sort of like when you pull a pint, the head settles at the top, and doent sink to the bottom... would this ingrediant start at the top, then settle at the bottom of the barrel and not come to the top?

i work in a real ale pub, and my boyfriend is a vegetarian and hes only just found out, but as long as the ingrediant doesnt get pulled through with the pint he sees it as being ok, as hes not actually drinking it...

if anyones confused by this il add more... dont go on about how hes not a true veggie or what ever, just a question for the brewers out there...

best answers will be rated...and good answers thumbs up

thank you

Don't give me any odd looks, odder questions, comments have been made on this Yahoo Answers site.

I've had my shower, sitting here floating around a bit on this site before I get ready for work. Listening to music of Babyface, eating a favorite oatmeal of mine.

Have you had a Quaker brand instant oatmeal that is raisen, date and walnut flavor? I just discovered it and it's a new favorite of mine.

I try to focus on eating a healthy (yet quick) breakfast in the morning and I find oatmeal is good to eat.

If you're a oatmeal eater . . . what do you like to put in your oatmeal ?

O.k. . . . answer this, then move on to answer a more mind stimulating, intellectual question. Nice to take a 'brain' break now and then (smiles).

Are you like me? Do you wish they served booze in cinemas, do you enjoy drinking on a Monday afternoon? Is there nothing better than a big fat glass of wine when watching TV? Its fab isn't it.

Is this still healthy for me to drink? I am tring my best to loose weight, but I am so sick of plain water.

Hydrogenated fats have been all but removed from most food products in the last year due to fears about their carcinogenic properties. They remain in some instant hot foods e.g. soups & gravy mixes.

Is this because they are safe in this format - e.g. does the hydrogenation "undo" in boiling water, or is it because no other form of fat can perform this same function?

What can you use to replace applesauce in a recipe? It's not for flavor, it's used as a liquid. Could you use milk?
