You can if you absolutey have no choc. chips. They will melt a lot faster & burn a lot quicker than chocolate chips because chocolate chips are made of a different consistency than candy bars and they are made for cooking & baking specifically. If you use candy bars, I would chop them up in bigger pieces than the normal choc. chip size.

Milk chocolate is not the same as chocolate chips, though the trade may still work. Chocolate chips are typically semisweet, which have a higher melting point. My suggestion would be to break the candy bar into the smallest pieces you can, as large ones may melt in such a way that your cookies get runny and fall apart.

i don't think that would be a problem, it's the same thing as chocolate chips, just in a bar
just chop the candy bar into chip sized pieces

make the batter as you would normally and then just all broken up pieces of the candy bar in place of the chips!

definite you may, yet whilst it is for chocolate chip cookies or something that desires to pass in the oven, it is precious to to apply baking chocolate, or you will get a tray of melted chocolate.
