I love bean burgers and my husband does too, but I'm wondering if anyone has tried some that aren't made with black beans or chickpeas. I makes those two kinds, but I would like something different.

I've checked my favorite recipe web sites (so don't waste your time saying "go to some website"), but I'm looking for other personal recipes that people might have.

My husand suddenly stopped drinking milk or eating any product made of milk. He thinks that cow gives milk for her calf and we human take away that milk that belogs to calf and use it for human consumption. In India, the moment cow starts giving milk, the calfs are deprived of cow's milk. I heard that this happens in India, but in USA, the cow is given extra hormons to produce more than enough milk and the calfs are not deprived. How can I find out more information if it is true for USA or in USA also they do same as India.

Well the main reason me and my friends drink is to get drunk but as we shop there is always the expensive bottle of voka vrs. the 5$ gallon of vodka. Now I was wondering if the only difference is taste the only between them or will drinking more of one get u drunk faster or for longer (assuming they are the same proof). Is it that the cheaper vodka there is more chance of getting sick too?

So I guess my essiential question is what is the difference between a 5$ gallon of vodka (80 proof) and buying premium vodka (80 proof)?

I gave up alcohol 6 months back. Now when I am offered alcohol at my friends place, I say no. Now when my friends come my place, is it proper to offer them alcohol or would they be offended by it? What is the proper etiquette? I guess same question can be extended to vegetarians who gave up non-vegetarian, is it proper to serve non-vegetarian to friends at your home even though you don't eat it?

thanks,
Treddy

I spend $0.50 for my beer! I see it in store water at $0.99 +tax and crv. Do you think that makes any sense value wise??
Brew my beer or your soda, all the ingredents and licenses ,and pay less than Plain water.????
Is any one value conscience out there?
H2O = H2O nothing more, nothing less. You cannot guarantee it did not come straight from the tap. I don't care about you finicky taste.
I'm am concerned at value and profit. Think! America sends millions of bottles of water in most every diaster nation "World" wide . You and I pay for it (taxes) and THEY sell it to the Governmemt to give away. When they list the tax deduction, they take that $.99.
We are being ripped off in our food purchases.
Even water!
