The hottest chile in the world is the Habanero Chile[I believe] which is used for the Habanero hot sause. It's very good. But only if you can handle it. Tops Tabasco and Tapatio hot sauce. Although my aunt makes an extremely spicy salsa. I think she puts at least 20 burnt(on the comale[hot plate I guess you could call it in english]) green jalapeno's and 7-10 burnt roma tomatoes. I know there are other ingredients, but I can't remember what they are. Then she blends it in the blender. It's very good!! Spicy but very delicious!!

The best tasting hot sauce is Louisiana hot sauce. I love it! What makes it taste good is that it is spicy, but more importanly,it has a nice vinegar taste! Great!

Jose Cuervo makes a variety of hot sauces that derive their kick not only from the guava plant but the capsacin in the different peppers they use.The capsacin is the heat index for peppers.

"Hot" sauce is not a flavor, but a sensation. If you want a good flavor, try Pace Picante or anything from a Jalapeno pepper.
