Actually, I have heard many shrimp are considered to be high in cholesterol. I have also heard, however that it's not considered to be particularly "bad" cholesterol, if that makes any sense.

Shrimp are not free of cholesterol. I am on a very low cholesterol diet and the doctor told me not to eat shrimp, but lobster was OK.

As far as I know, shrimp are supposed to be high in cholesterol but I don't know if it's the good or the bad cholesterol.

Shrimp is high in "dietary" cholesterol but in recent years it has been determined that "dietary" cholesterol intake does not increase the cholesterol level of the person consuming it as long as you don't go overboard. Once forbidden on low cholesterol diets that is no longer the case.

No such thing as shrimps---but shrimp are not a low cholesterol food........but very good...............................
