I defrosted freshly caught tuna by leaving it in the refrigerator until completely thawed. Wasn't able to cook it until the day after. Would this still be ok to eat? My boyfriend said this shouldn't be done and he wouldn't risk it if he were me.

Please comment.

I'm looking for some simple recipes for dinner. Recipes that are basic, use common ingredients, and aren't that much trouble. I'm looking for something beyond grilled cheese or nuking hot dogs.

Please only if you're a smoker or used to smoke. People who have never smoked weed wouldn't understand the true feeling of the munchies.:)

In the 1950s and 1960s pubs (at least in London) sold packets of four cheese biscuits (Sort of small oblong with a filling inbetween) which seem unobtainable now. They also sold large, thick arrowroot biscuits. (I know supermarkets sell small thin ones) If you know the type of biscuits I mean, are the obtainable anywhere now?

I am raising my children as vegetarians, as well, and it is very upsetting to me EVERY HOLIDAY when someone has to roll their eyes or make a comment about what we don't eat. I do not comment about what they eat at all. It is very disrespectful.

And please don't say "Eat meat."

I just started a new job, and the people in my department have all brought CHristmas goodies as gifts, and I should probably do something too. What's a good holiday treat I can give as gifts? There are about 10 other people in my department.

I used to have a recipe that used butter, lemon and spices. you open up the pita and cut it into triangles and then spread the butter and spices on the pita and bake it. This recipe was great and I would love to find it. Thanks!
