one part brandy means that the drink is a fraction. so if it is 1 part brandy and 2 parts water then divide the drink in thirds or just use a shot glass which is 1 ounce and then pour 1 shot brandy and 2 shots water. I hope this helps

can you answer mine?

One part means if all other parts are equal in measurement then one part would be that measure. Say it called for three parts milk, and one part brandy you have to assume that the parts are all in equal measure unless they tell you what constitutes the measuring of one part. So, if one part is a glass of say milk then it logically follows the one part of brandy would be a glass of brandy of the same measure. Then it would be three glasses (parts) of milk then to one glass (part) of brandy.

It is all what you want to make it of. Alcohol is kind of that way LOL...

For example if your recipe calls for one part brandy, one part hot chocolate and one part ice...
Well then fill your cup 1/3 full of brandy, 1/3 full of hot chocolate and 1/3 full of ice...

Or 2/3 full of brandy and 1/3 full of hot chocolate and forget the ice.
To each his own LOL

Have fun!!!

One part can be anything. Say you’re using a shot glass; fill the shot glass with brandy, that’s one part. Then the recipe calls for two parts cider, then you’d fill the shot glass twice. When a recipe is given by parts, it is not the volume that matters, but the ratio. You know fractions… (Wired how things come back to haunt you).
II hope I explained this well.

well being a bartender i have to tell you it depends on the size of the glass. When they say part it means usually a shot, or if you count while you pour it is a 4 sec. pour. If your glass is bigger you might want to go for a 5 or 6 sec. pour..totally up to you..just make sure you can drink whatever you mix up cause sometimes it can be way too stout if you don't mix correctly.

If the recipe is in parts, it is up to you to figure out which measurement depending on how much you want in the end. A part can be a shot, a cup, a gallon, or even a shoe, whatever measurement you want.

The part is a count. For instance most shots are a 4 count. You turn up the bottle count to 4 and turn it back. Therefore if you needed say 1 part SoCo, 1 part Raz, and 2 parts peach, and a splash of pineapple (a wonderful SouthCarolina shot) you would. Put a one count of SoCo in, a one count of Raz in, and a 2 count of peach, and then splash with pineapple juice... shake, strain, and shoot! Hope that helps! Merry Christmas!

It depends upon how much you're making. One part brandy, one part vodka, two parts orange juice could be one cup brandy, one cup vodka, two cups orange juice.

And yeah, that would probably get you drunk.

It depends on what the other ingredients and how many parts they call for and how big the final drink is. Can you give the whole recipe?
