She barely knows how to boil water. Okay she does, but that's about it. She can also operate a microwave. This is totally a beginner, no recipes for stuff like pot roast, or filet mignon with a cream marsala sauce. Just simple things to get by, but more that Top Ramen and Cup of Noodles every night. I don't want her to waste money going out to eat every night. Not until I go to visit her. =)

Get 6oz to 8oz (170-230g) of boneless fillet salmon per person. Add a splash of quality oil, such as extra virgin oil and some seasoning. Wrap it in cling film and cook in water at 50C for 13 minutes. For an accompaniment add a few coriander seeds, oil and a splash of orange juice together. Add 2 tablespoons of the mix with sliced carrots in cling film and cook at 73C for 45 minutes...WONDERFUL!!

Hello, i bought some snack raisins for my son, about 2 weeks ago i opened a box to discover maggots, so i opened a 2nd and a 3rd box and all were contaminated with maggots. i threw all of the boxes and packaging away and believed this was a one off. I recentently bought some more of the same brand raisins and today have discovered the same contamination with a Best before end of august 2007! What advice can you give me with dealing with this matter. I have contacted the company and am awaiting a return call. im concerned that if this has happened to me twice that maybe all the produce is contaminated. please advice me on what to say. many thanks

Our grill is old and has all kinds of gunk on the grate, that's why I'm not just grilling them straight-up.

Every time I make chicken soup, everyone has gas from it and my son has loose diapers. I would like to know what I can do to prevent this as we like soup, especially when we have colds, which is when I make a big pot of it. Does it have anything to do with using bouillon chicken cubes instead of chicken broth from a can? I do this since it is cheaper. I add: Chicken breast meat, carrots, onions, celery, potatoes and noodles - all ingredients we eat otherwise with no problems. Any suggestions? Advice? Thanks :)

Hi,

Today is Tuesday, and I want to prepare three Thanksgiving casseroles to be baked on Thursday. Will they keep ok in the fridge? I'm making macaroni and cheese (I want to cook the macaroni, the cheese sauce, and lay it out in the baking dish), butternut squash casserole (cook squash and sauce, lay in dish), and a veggie casserole (same as above). Basically I want to prep them tonight so that on Thursday all I have to do is pop them in the oven. Is it too far in advance to make them? Most recipes say "make up to one day in advance" but this would be two days in advance. Advice needed!

Does anyone have a good recipe for rolls? My Husband and I will not be arriving in our home town until 24 hours before our wedding reception and we will still need to make some kind of bread. I am looking for something that is either super easy to make or super cheap to buy. On top of being either cheap or easy it has to taste amazing too. Can any one help? If you have ideas please give recipes.
