Start it earlier, and at a lower temperature (275°F) That'll let the heat soak in but not over cook the outer portion...

After about an hour or so, turn the temp up to the normal temperature (325°F), and continue on...

If you are stuffing the bird, then wait to put the stuffing in until you're ready to turn the heat up. - Take it out and stuff it...

Have a great Thanksgiving meal!

Rinse the cavity well with water. Do NOT stuff the turkey with stuffing. Put some onions and carrots in the cavity but that is all. You want air to circulate through the cavity of the turkey so that it will warm/thaw the frozen part more quickly once it is in the oven.

When you clean the turkey, wash the inside and outside of the bird in tepid (not cold, not warm, just lukewarm) water. If the inside is still frozen after you wash it and pat it dry, then it's not ready to cook yet.

It will be okay. Just make sure to use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature before you take it out. But to be thawed completely is better for next time. If it is still a little inside rinse it with cold water....not warm.

Sure, But if you are new at cooking turkeys, may I suggest to deep fry it or brown bag cook it. These are the two easiest ways I have come across to cook turkey..... I recommend Frying it personally...

no it needs to be thawed all the way. the turkey should be in your frig for at least 5 days before you are planning on cooking it.

Use one of the Reynolds baking bag -- the steam will defrost it and the bag keeps the turkey nice and moist.
