I am interested only in non-artificial sweeteners, i.e., those extracted directly from natural source and not refined. I am also interested in why you believe a particular natural sweetener is better than another (nutritional or taste reasons). If you know anything about its composition and the sweet components, sugars, or sugar-like analogues it possesses, I'd be interested in that too! I enjoy honey but have seen mixed messages about just how good it is for you compared with regular sugar, so I'd like some other opinions. Thanks!

I know I am, and I'm sure there are lots more like me. I can't ever seen to go through any meal without ending it with something sweet (even if it be a fruit). What does that say about us?

I love veggies, but HATE tofu. I would like some fast, very easy dinner entree recipes using ingredients I can get at any grocery store. Is this possible? If there just isn't anything out there like that, can you mark the specialty ingredients with an asterik? And can anybody recommend a cookbook or even a website I might like based on these specifications?

I'm lactose intolerant... acquired it from my dad.

My local grocer didn't have any Lactaid... my options were Fat Free and Whole... so I chose Whole milk... I have about 2 cups of Lactaid in the fridge. Can I mix some of the whole milk with the Lactaid since it has lactase in it (which helps digest lactose)? I don't want the milk to curdle or anything lol.

Also, could this be bad for me?

Thanks.

Most of my worst memories from nights out are when some evil person turns all the lights on full brightness at 2am to kick everyone out.

Whats a worse feeling, the 2am lights on, or the 2:15am kebab cos I've given up for the night?

I was putting together a pot roast earlier today, and my husband mentioned his mom used to make a Ukranian pot roast with sweet gherkins in it.
Has anyone ever heard of this? He said it was good.

I just opened a can of chilli, and as I put the can opener to it, it sounded like air hissed out. I'm not going to die of botulism if I eat it, will I?

My daughter is a very responsible child, she is 16 and refuses drinks with everyone expect my husband and I. Is it okay for her to drink wine coolers and wine? SHe only drinks the wine coolers when my husband and I dont want the rest of the bottle. Wine she only drinks when we have steak or fish that goes very well with wine. In the past we diluted the drinks so that she didnt get full on drunk. But she seems mature enough to handle them without water. We want her to be cultured and very sophisticated when she is older. Do you think we can trust her with the drinks?
