Make smaller sections of the dough and drop into your boiling stew. They will expand and get light on the inside like a dumpling. It's about the same dough (leavening is different is all).
Or drop in boiling salted water and when done in the middle (like a dumpling), place them on top of your stew in the crock pot. Eat them with a fork and a knife, they will be delicious!

this may not be the greatest idea in the world, but if you have a very large pot with a lid and a rack that will fit inside the pot, you can put the pot on the stove top, place the rack inside the pot to keep the rolls off the bottom, turn the burner on med low, place the rolls on the rack and pray that they do not get too hot on the bottom. might turn them over after 10 minutes.

Use the dutch oven in the fireplace . or on the stovetop
No fireplace use the coals from a small wood or charcoal fire and place them around the top and bottom of the dutch oven.
No dutch oven then pan fry or bake on the coals.
You could place the dough in the crockpot and cook with the stew ,placed on top it makes a nice bread topping mixed in it makes a dumpling
I saw in a magizine that putting a buisquit on a stew in a cup and cooked was good eating. anyway this is one of the ways we cooked while I was in BoyScouts

You could TRY a few in the microwave in a large bowl with a lid (not sealed or it will explode... I usually just lay a plate over the top. It is POSSIBLE that might work but I would try with one or two and bascially turn it on for a while and WATCH it VERY closely...
If you have any hotpockets you can try using the sleeve that comes with those and that might work as well in the microwave (I have actually make cookies in them)...
The other option is a grill like someone else mentioned...
Good luck...

Do you have a dutch oven? You could dig a fire pit in your yard make a fire in the fire pit & wait for the fire to go out and put the dutch oven in the coals. I go camping and do EVERYTHING in a dutch oven.
Grease the dutch oven Put the biscuits IN the dutch oven & Cook in coals 5 on the lid 10 at least underneath. Cook for about 10 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Do you have an electric skillet with a lid? That would work. a roaster pan is also an oven and that would work. The grill is a great idea. Good luck. Let us know what you ended up doing!

You can cook it in a double boiler for about 45 minutes, this comes out very good with one exception it will not brown.
OR
Roll it out flat and cook it in a slightly greased cast iron skillet when one side is brown turn it over and brown the other side takes about 30 minutes

Open the lid to your Stew, drop the soon to be dumpings in, you may need to turn them over in about 10 minutes.

Call your neighbor or friend, offer to bring your dinner over, sharing the stew dinner in exchange for borrowing their oven.
It'll give you a chance to visit - and enjoy good food and good friends. Nothing better for dinner than good food and friends to share it with.
