Yes, teaching sensible drinking is not a bad thing. I always allowed my kids a small dilute taster when they were over 12. They are now 18 and 21. One refrains from drinking completely and the other drinks in moderation, I have never seen him drunk!

I don't think letting your sixteen year old drink will make her cultured and sophistcated.even though she may seem mature enough to drink it,she still isnt old enough to.i dont think you should let her drink any alcohol yet even if it's just leftover.even a little can go a long way.if u want her to learn how to dine accordingly, like with red wine and steak or something, you should teach her first and when she is old enough she will host her own dinners and be sophisticated and all.i think you should be able to trust your own daughter, but you should still think of the pros and cons you put towards your daughter.

Yes,
It is actually good to have 1 ver very small drink a day. Dont give her a lot though. Give her the amount of juice she could make with 1 lemon.

No, not good for the brain. Even if she is mentally mature, physically, her body is still developing and alcohol could harm her, and it is more damaging in females than males. It could damage her brain cells. I suggest you wait till she is 3-4 years older, or ask a doctor for an appropriate age.

It's a bit too obvious that you're the sixteen-year-old.
A: No.
Going on the phrasing of your question, you aren't anywhere near old enough.

Dear Faithless Angel:
Underage drinking does not make a young person 'cultured and very sophisticated'.
It makes them an alcoholic and a delinquent.
You don't look very sophisticated the way you spelled 'alcohal'.
