They closed the factory in i think the year was 1984/5, which is now a garage petrol station, the business moved to Middleton in Manchester and carried on trading under the name of Norco ...mow sadly gone The cast of the tv series dearest and dearest Nellie and Eli Pledge of pledged pickles visited the premises in the early days...for a insight on how the factory operated..They also in the early days sold Pixie pickles and Hoes sauce..
