I use to not eat meat but unfortunately i made up for it by eating too many breads and bad carbs. I am overweight. I need your help, please give me your favorite vegan websites and your favorite recipes that are healthy and not too many bad carbs.. My daughter has just made the full switch to vegan too (no meat) I am not sure if we will give up on eggs or milk yet but we will try to cut down on them. What do you suggest? I can't exercise much because i have a badly damaged back and neck injuries, i do try to walk . Thank you so much.

What kind of beer? And please don't say Budweiser, I wouldn't drink that crap if it was the last beer on Earth (actually in my book it doesn't even count as beer).

I like the medium imported beers, Beck's and Heineken are two of my all-time favorites. But also I like to try out local micro-brews whenever I go to a new area. Right now I'm all into Super Bock.

Would you ever drink your milk with your meals at a restaurant? It's rare for me to see somebody drink milk with their meals at a restaurant and not many people likes to drink milk anymore.

I've considered a vegetarian lifestyle. It would be preferable to anybody with reverence. This much concerns me: eating meat has been hard-wired into our bodies over innumerable generations, and our bodies are ours because of it.

The points most scientists agree that human brains gained a distinct advantage were at the introduction of meat and at the introduction of cooking into the human diet. The easiest way to explain why is to say that there is a finite amount of energy that can be worked into a humanoid, and that energy was used to make more intestine back then. If it wasn't, the resulting humanoid didn't fare well, and likely didn't reproduce. Eating easier-to-digest foods changed all that, and suddenly the big-brained ones didn't drop like flies. Eventually: enter Homo Sapiens.

I AM NOT saying that vegetarians unintelligent. My question is, does anyone worry over long term effects of taxing their "fuel" system through successive vegetarian generations?

Try this i think it is Legendary.

2 big breakfast mushrooms( Remove the stalks ) Fill one mushroom cup with a strong cheddar and bits of garlic & chilly then drizzle with olive oil. Put other mushroom on top and hold together with cocktail sticks. Rub with olive oil and season.

It is so good for a non-alchohol beer, it's malt, so it is sweet. I had it when in Germany. Anyone know where I can find some .
By the way, I'm in the venice, marina del rey area.
