Just to set the record straight, you are not vegans if you are eating milk and eggs, you are vegitarians.
Vegans do not eat anything to do with animals, no cheese, no milk, no eggs... no animal products at all.
For your weight, I suggest that you go on a healthy diet of veggies, fruits and grains mostly... with whole grain breads and pastas only... no white flour products at all as that is what causes you to gain weight. Just make sure that you get enough protein and vitamins on a daily basis, your good heath depends on it. If you email me I will send you a very healthy diet, which is really not a diet, it is just a better way of eating and you will lose weight. I have a bad back too and cannot exercise, but I walk an hour every day. This worked for me and many others I sent it too. Good luck and take care!

First of all, you're not vegan if you consume eggs and dairy products. Eggs and dairy products can make you gain a lot of weight, so you should take it easy on them. Try to walk as much as you can if you can't do anything else. You should go to a doctor to try and solve your neck and back problems or at least find a way to improve your situation regarding them. Good luck with everything. Here's a good site you can try:

a great website about vegan/vegetarian diets is www.veganwolf.com it has a lot of helpful information on there.
By the way... if you still eat eggs or milk but not meat, then you are a vegetarian, only when you eat nothing coming from animals (milk, cheese, honey, eggs, ect.) are you a vegan.

why stop eating meat.It is good for the body in moderation same as the egg or the milk,is it health or are you one of the people with the big hearts that have problems with killing something to eat.Now that you are fat from eating all the carbs get back to eating healthy.Animals were put on earth to eat in moderation with the bread and potatoes and grass that you all eat.Just eat it don't think about it loose weight live a long life.
