I was just wondering what everyone thought was a good time span from getting engaged to getting married. Me and my boyfriend just got engaged on Valentines day. He wants to wait like 5 years to get married so we can save up more money. I on the other hand want to get married sonner. I was thinking more like May 2009? How long did you wait to get married after becoming engaged?

I'm getting married in September and we have a family friend who is a judge whose willing to marry us, we haven't quite got the location of the ceremony down, but are wondering if he could even perform the ceremony in a church or if we'd have to use the resident priest? Any ideas?

I am having a destination wedding and would like to use Instavases. They are collapsible vases also called Magic Vases and Wonder Vases.

They are a lot more expensive than the glass vases I was shopping for but I think that the convenience would be worth a little extra money. I can get 36 glass bud vases for $36 dollars which is an amazing deal that will be hard to beat but if I got a little closer to that total I would be willing to pay the extra money. I was wondering if anyone had come across a good price for these vases or if they could recommend company's who sell them. Thank you in advance.

i am 18, and i am getting married in june, and i am trying to pick out some lingerie for my honeymoon and wedding night. I am about a size 6, i wear a 34c, but i dont like my thighs, they are fat.
1. what should i get, that is sexy and flattering? I like the "dream corset" from fredericks of hollywood, but i do not know how it will look on me...i like lingerie that is sexy, even almost trashy, but

2.i am really nervous about what to wear and i need some help and ideas...

3. also if i get the corset, should i put it on b4 leaving the reception? (it says u need help putting it on) or whatever i get, should i put it own b4 leaving (i am not wearing my wedding dress away).

4. should i wear white (i am not a virgin, i slept with my fiance 2x, but we havent done it for like almost a year, we are waiting til the wedding night)since its our wedding or should i wear a color?

Thanks for all the help!!!!!!

I wanted to have my wedding dress made but the fiance came and picked a thousand dollar wedding dress that is very pretty. But I am kind of thick and the dress is very puffy but pretty. He want it to be cranberry red which I have no problem with that I am tired of the tradition of white or off white anyway. I think that I can carry the color but the puffiness of it is a bother. I have thighs and a butt that is curvy what do you think you will not see that but will it make me look bigger than what I am.

Last night me and my fiancee (who I live with) were considering moving our wedding up from May to Easter Sunday (which falls on April 8). The wedding is going to be small at my biologicial moms garden. (we have already been through a location dispute, which I posted in a previous question). My 3 year old daughter is going to be our flower girl and my brother is my best man. Me and my fiancee are both 17 by the way and yes we are in love. After my fiancee hopes to adopt my daughter. Tehn she will have a mother again (her real one moved away and left her with me) But I am getting off track. What do the rest of you think about an Easter wedding. I know it is not tradition but its my wedding.

I am looking for a photographer to do my wedding. It will be in blue springs, MO (kansas city, mo area). I will want to rights to the pics taken as well. Do you know of anybody that might just be starting out or that just does it on the side? Please help. My fiance and I cannot afford to spend around like $2000 for a photographer. Any suggestions? (and if you say to check craigslist, then please explain...I went to the site but it wasn't for my area)...thanks in advance.

If you're already married post the song you danced to first....I either want the remix of Let's Get Married (so non-traditional and so much fun) or The Book of Love by Peter Gabriel....
